    so whats a guys chance of getting a bear license in 2013 if he wasnt drawn in 2012??????? up in the deer river squaw lake area. the zone number escapes me right now.

    The number of tags have went down significantly in many areas. In the past, a preference point all but guaranteed you would draw. Not sure now.

    I would say more importantly what are the chances of tagging out if a person were to draw. We still see them around but not like we used to. Plus the “new weather” conditions seem to help make garbage pile shooting harder.
