Congrats to Donnie F and Cliff R from Forest Lake, Mn. They harvested the first two bears of the 2011 season giving hunters a 100% success rate

Donnie’s bear had a live weight of 375#

Cliff’s bear had a live weight of 275#

For this week (the first full week of the season), 4/5 hunters have had opportunities, with one bear being harvested so far.

If anyone can explain how to upload video to this forum, I can post video from the trail cams in addition to the attached photos.

To upload videos, you’ll need an account on http://www.youtube.com. From there, they have pretty good instructions on how to upload the video files. Especially if you don’t plan to do any editing to the content prior to the upload. Once uploaded, just place a link here. One of the site moderators can embed at that point.

If you need any further help, shoot me a PM. I’ll help however I can.

Too funny, as long as your trail camera is in a bear box. Thanks for sharing!

Mark – that bear was actually one of 3 cubs & a sow that was hitting during daylight hours, so they were off limits.

That 275#er was taken off that bait just before legal shooting hours ended, but never captured him on the trail cam. The cubs always moved the trail cam or barrel from the line of sight on the camera.
