Well just got back from Orr my cousin and my station got hit but the bears are on the small side. Got a really cool video of a coyote trying to come in to the station but the bear was not going to let that happen. And there was bear scat everywhere never seen so much scat from one bear when I say a lot I mean about 30 piles. Hey how do you post videos?

Well good luck to everyone for opener. I’m heading up tomorrow after work stations are getting hit but the bears are still on the small side but we will see what happens things could change for the better. I walked into my bait station last Saturday and got a little surprise spooked a bear out of my spot ran right in front of me that will get the blood flowing

Well for opener we ended up with a 240lb chocolate color phase and a 220 lb bear I will be going back up to try and my luck again in a few weeks’ things going on so can’t make it back up this weekend. I had a nice bear come in also but must have had a bad shot on it we looked all night and the next morning for it but very little blood not a good feeling. Well I will post the pics as soon as they e mail me them. Good luck to the rest of you

Well made it back up north after missing a full two weeks due to prior engagements to find all 3 bait stations picked clean. So I checked all 3 cards to find out what size and times they were coming in at. Well I decided on my bait station it was since a nice bear had cleaned me out the night before. So I went out and did a burn with no luck. It was very windy out and my group I hunt with have never had any luck with the larger bear when it’s windy out. I hunt up in Orr it’s a long haul for one for one evening of bear hunting but luckily grouse is open so me and my cousin went out and filled out on grouse in the morning to kill sometime and let me get bear hunting off my mind

Heading back up for the last time. The one bear I have coming went nocturnal and since I can’t bait daily not sure what to do. I think I have a clue were its coming in so im going to sit on the ground over there and hope to get him. Any other ideas will be appreciated

Well I’m heading back up for the last weekend man it’s been a long season but a great one. Any ideas on how to turn this nocturnal bear into a deceased bear. It’s just really hard since I only have a few days on the weekend I will be going back up Thursday night. The bear is coming in around 930 pm staying for a few hours then leaving and coming back around 4 am. I’m thinking when I get up there to drive my Honda out there and scare him out but not sure if that would scare him off for good. Wish I could leave a radio out there at night. Any ideas would be very helpful
