How big is this black bear?

    Caught this guy coming in to one of my deer feeders. I was able to buy an excess tag over the counter so now the baiting fun begins. How big do you think this bear is?

    Looks like there is one shot in the vid that has him standing and nose pointed out, you may be able to get an approximate length measurement. Nice bear though, definitely a shooter!!!

    Depends on your definition of a “shooter”…

    Good looking fall bear, at first glance, looks to be in the mid to upper 200’s.

    How high is the feeder bucket. With that info may be more accurate. Guessing by the size of that butt, and the width across the back. I would put it at over 300. A little more info would help. It may be bigger than that.

    Always hard to say. Even with being up close and personal with over 50 of them so far this year. With at least 15 over 300. It’s a still a tough call.
