    I’ve never shot a bear and only hunted them once, so I’m super pumped.

    Oh sure…. It stinks, but at least they are admitting to the mistake and going to do what is right.

    Sorry fellas, sounds like there is going to be a 3rd attempt at this years lottery.

    Someone from another site e-mailed Dan Stark from the DNR and this is the response he got.

    We have identified that there is an error in the second run of the bear lottery. Basically what happened is that when we uploaded the data into the new system it ran the lottery as if no one bought a license in 2010.

    That’s why it indicated you have a preference level 2. We have withdrawn the results and have to start over. This is going to take some time to fix.

    Check back next week for updated results. Sorry for the inconvenience.
