what would be easier

i have been wanting to try bear hunting out for a while what state would a guy have better luck at trying to get a tag in i got a cabin in wi kinda by webster area but would be a non res also could hunt in mn around grand rapids and got some land north of two harbors i have never put in fro any of the above thanks

Well i gie you my 2 cents, my group hunts in the ely area in mn, there is average 10 of us, so we rotate years so there is not as many people to prepare baits for, and almost every year we all get drawn,but but word has it that they will be cutting back on tags again, hope that helps you a little, O and by the way group almost kills our limit of bears every year.

I think webster is in zone B without looking at map. That would take 10yrs to get a tag. So MN would be easier.
