    there is one roaming around St Cloud lately…. it was spotted by Bel Clare Acres 2 nights ago, they got pictures….

    We start saturday The only problem is that I made a bait run last night (all nighter) and things have slowed down some since last weekend. Also I have not gotten a pic of my target bear since the 29th this was the 1st year he had shown himself in the daylight, so I thought I had a chance. Not looking good for that now but hopefully he will show this weekend. On another note most of my daytime activity has been from 1:30 pm till dark. (very early for a mature bear)Good luck guys!     My filming partner took a 350# male at 6pm yesterday, they went 4 for 4 already near grand portage, he got over an hour of pre roll before sticking him, perfect shot dead in 20 yards, 125 grain Muzzy. Pics and video to come, gonna be a great season!! I head up for a goose/walleye huntin 5 days and a bear hunt in 10!

    A friend’s Brother shot a 405lb bear last night near Wadena in the No Quota area. He stopped by and let us take a look on his way to the taxidermist. Pretty impressive head….and man were those mitts HUGE!!! He stopped back after the taxidermist and sounds like it is expected to score pretty close to 21…He is going to try to send some pictures tomorrow.
