Im interested in hunting black bears this upcoming fall in canada.
Is it too late to even get a hunt set up and get the proper paperwork filled to get guns into canada?
If its not, does anyone have any good places to go to for a trophy black bear?
Big G used an outfitter up there this year. I’m sure he’ll chime in when he gets home from the lake this weekend.
What province do you want to go? I can recommend outfitters in Manitoba, Ontario and New Brunswick.
The paper work for bringing guns across the border takes 5 minutes to fill out and can be done when you cross the border. Manitoba and New Brunswick offer spring hunts too. All 3 have fall hunts.
Im really open to all options.

I have had very good luck with Highwind lake camp in ontario.

I’m heading to Newfoundland in June… Reports to come.. I’ve been told they have some of the worlds largest black bears, but who knows – you seem to hear that from every outfitter you talk to…
