day one

well the first day went well got to the stand around 4:00 and my buddy went and sat at the other bait to watch and film 15 min after he got to stand he texed bear at bait hour later another then another we haven’t seen anything then he had a monster come in. I started to stiffen up so I decided to draw the bow and bam here comes a bear about 7:30 got camera man’s attention and we both seen it was a small bear and just watched he didn’t spend much time just walked by then we heard the wheeler pick Jason up then us. check trail cameras and they have been hitting the bait I was at all the time just after baiting. So tonight Jason and I will be heading to the bait he was at in hopes of the tank he seen. read the paper today and seen the monster that lady got that’s not to far from our area good bears up here. hopefully tonight will go as planned and will have my first bear.

Good Luck! Sat for the 5th night last night and nothing again for me. Third different bait. At least want to see my first bear one of these times. Baits are getting hit, but without a trail cam I have no idea when. Hopefully one of these days it is during the daylight hours.

Yup, stay positive!! If there was one thing I learned, bear hunting is full of ups and downs. One of these times you’ll hit the “up” side while on stand!
