Well I pulled the last stand out of the woods today and began packing to leave on the road at 3am headed for a construction job on the border. Stupid economy, stupid cash, stupid bills, going to miss the entire archery deer season to boot.

But once I get settled in the next few days after work I will put together a full report with pics for you guys on the 2009 bear season, it was interesting to say the least.

Other wise look to “Skunky Nelson” for a little ditty on the disastrous 2009 bear season. Second week was brutal, the worst we have ever seen.

I wondered if Joel was hunting with you, sorry to hear you have to head to the border instead of spending time in the woods for bow season. Can’t wait to see the pics and read the stories.

Ya Nelson came hunting with me this year. He was looking for a colored phased bear, black with white stripes.

Before I head out a few pics

    Wayne

    John

    Dave

    John

    Mike

Al (Sorry about the tailgate shot, Al had his bear out and home before we even had all the hunters in the stands on the first day. The guy is a hunting machine!)

We have a few more pics I will post later. Such as Joel Nelson’s bear.

    Sorry to hear that Johnny…
I know the feeling My fishing trips are way down (even though we have had super trips the past two years…and none of my interested clients drew Bear tags this year. They cut back on the tags, albeit the bear population is way up???
I am going back to sub teaching/tutoring just ot get the bills paid.

Some great looking pictures and bears JohnnyP! Looking forward to hearing your year end report.

Especially about that skunk bear that was harassing Joel!
