    Here’s some pics taken of a Bear in Houston County. I received these via email yesterday.

    Looks like a yearling who’s out wandering around looking for a home territory. We had one in Westby this year, too.

    I bet that beekeeper is VERY unhappy. I don’t know if this area is suffering from a lack of bees like some areas are, but it still looks like he’s making a mess of that hive.

    And my Fiance says their are no bears down here. this is atleast the fourth on I have heard of in a little over a year. Atleast I wont have to take her in the woods with me anymore

    We even get one of them there bears down here in NE Iowa once and a while. I know there was one sighted the year before last just a few miles north of DBQ but it headed back north. Every so often somebody spots one in Allamakee county which is directly south of Houston County MN. One got killed on hwy 18 just west of Dodgeville, WI a few years back. It had denned in a culvert under the Hwy but got hit.

    I read that WAY too fast the first time and thought it said “It denned up at Culvers”

    Maybe he would have been better off denning at Culver’s instead of a culvert
