Anyone know if they are taking applications yet?
On a side note, anyone know of any major regulation changes imposed for this year? Just hoping they do something to change the “guide” laws. 
Just buying a $85 license and sticking cardboard signs stating “bear bait area” in the middle of every logging trail in the north country shouldn’t constitute being a “guide”. 
It’s gone from being an enjoyable, and often times successful, hunt to being a crap-shoot as to whether or not a guy can even find a spot to plunk down his doughnuts…much less shoot a bear! 
Hope some changes are on the horizon, but I haven’t heard of anything lately.
