Wow that’s sad to watch and just disgusting. How can one be such a d bag. And then talk about how awesome they are.
March 29, 2019 at 1:25 pm #1847026Pretty sick video. No one can argue that. Then you get to the end of the video and it sure seems to be a politically motivated video. Claiming the current administration is trying to legalize this. At least that was my take on it.
What happened to their pretty wolf videos?

What happened to their pretty wolf videos?
My exact thoughts

Claiming? It was prohibited and now the regulation prohibiting trying to be rolled back.
https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaViewRule?pubId=201810&RIN=1024-AE38The regulations are here: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CFR-2018-title36-vol1/xml/CFR-2018-title36-vol1-sec13-42.xml and what they are trying to do is remove paragraph (f) and (g) which contains the prohibitions on “Taking cub bears or female bears with cubs”
March 29, 2019 at 2:58 pm #1847043Id like to hear them scream just like the cubs were. If these D-bags lived anywhere close to me I think they would come out of their home to find a Louisville slugger awaiting their kneecaps.

The point is it’s political BS that doesn’t belong here!

So it’s sick but bringing attention to attempts to legalize the sick behavior doesn’t belong here… got it
March 29, 2019 at 4:41 pm #1847060My point was not too be political, just can’t believe that people do this crap.
March 29, 2019 at 5:55 pm #1847064What really stuck in my craw was when I heard the ignorant Los Angeles types on TV refer to these idiots as “hunters.” I think as hunters and outdoorsmen it is incumbent on us to point out that these two are POACHERS.
On another note, I thought Alaska had the reputation of treating wildlife crimes aggressively. Can’t believe they basically ended up with wrist slaps.March 29, 2019 at 11:17 pm #1847120sick mfkrs! this is as low as these pieces of $hit could go. are any names and addresses released? I aint sayin I got some free time but maybe after seeing that despicable $hit. I never got past the mid point of the video before I shut it off. just a cowardly and despicable act by 2 pieces of $hit with a special seat in hell waiting their arrival.
Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559March 29, 2019 at 11:31 pm #1847123I saw this the other day and what they’ve done is lower than a slug’s slime. I saw something about the cheesy little sentences they got too. I’d be fine with fishthumper catching a home run with each one’s balls using that Louisville slugger and then tap some divots at 3″ spaces from the knees to the ankles. Pricks. Justice would be reading about their well-deserved deaths by unknown and questionable methods.
March 30, 2019 at 8:24 am #1847137Sad, just sad. What gets me is, from the son’s comment on camera, it is clearly apparent that they knew what they were doing was both wrong and unlawful.

March 30, 2019 at 8:22 pm #1847258Not even close they are removing the Federal regulations on Federal land and the State of Alaska`s regulations would take there place if you really read what was going on. It would give control to the State of Alaska for the regulations of Federal and State lands.

Yup, thats exactly right. The reason the federal prohibition was created though was because the state of Alaska uses Intensive Management programs for predators like wolves and bears. For bears those programs have explicitly allowed killing bear cubs.

Question. Does the State of Alaska permit the taking of bears and/or bear cubs at den sites?
Answer. In general, no. State hunting regulations prohibit disturbing dens. However, taking bears and/or bear cubs at den sites is allowed in a limited area where it is a customary and traditional practice, and is limited to subsistence only. The Federal Subsistence Board also currently allows federally-qualified subsistence users to engage in this practice on designated areas within Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve. See, pages 84 and 118 https://www.doi.gov/sites/doi.gov/files/uploads/wildlife_regs_16-18_correctedreduced.pdf(Follow-up) Question. Under state management (prior to the federal rules), was this practice taking place on federal refuge and preserve lands?
Answer. Yes. The harvest of bears at den sites is also allowed in some federal areas under federal subsistence regulations.DeletedPosts: 959April 8, 2019 at 2:13 pm #1849191Only thing I got out of it was “The Humane Society” who put it out, did so only for political reasons. I don’t agree with their stance on hunting at all.
I would not/do not agree with shooting cubs but nor do I agree with the deaths caused by The Humane Society and their shelters that euthanize. The 100 million dollars a year that they raise (as a non profit) does very little for animals in need.
They, like PETA (people eating tasty animals) get zero of my respect.
These two guys in the video are not sportsmen in my view. If they violated game laws then they should be held accountable. I don’t know of anyone that knowingly and willfully goes out and commits violations. Most sportsmen are of pretty high character.
