With the high water and no wake figured beanies be a good spot to launch going north. Turk mentioned at some point the whole parking thing has changed and it sure has. No more trailering on the roads. My launch yesterday, a Monday, weekday, $20. Holy crapoly Batman, gonna be a desperate situation, if ever, I get back there. Too bad, was a good spot I used quite a bit last year.

I’m done with that location. It was a good run. I prefer to remember the good times.

Has anyone heard any updates on the launch near the new 94 bridge in Oak Park Hts, discussed back in March of 2017? At that time they were saying the ramp would be built next summer/fall (2019) and ready for spring 2020. Still a ways off, but I hope that remains part of the plan.

Glad I didn’t invest the 80 bucks for the yearly pass at lakefront..
