Has anyone used this new product by North Woods Innovations? I have heard about this new product and was curious if anyone has had the chance to use it yet? I would be pleased to hear your input.

I have not heard of it. Can you provide a link so I can see what it is we are talking about?

Thanks for jogging my brain. I have seen this in pictures. I have not seen or used one myself. Interesting concept

Could be nice for fishing where there’s current but other than that I just swing my transducer.

What do your mean by swing the transducer?

He rocks the transducer back in fourth in the hole to find the fish

I like that I have had that idea in my head for a long time but never moved on it. I’m happy that someone did. I would just like to see it on a rod so you can control it in the current.

Swinging the transducer gives you a view of what’s close to you but not directly under your hole. It lets you read off to the sides so you know where to goto next. Usually when I get to a spot I drill 30-50 holes, (100’s the record) and hop around. It’s nice when you are on a school of fish and they start moving you just swing your transducer until you see them and move that direction a hole!
It takes a little bit to get used to but it works amazingly once you get it figured out!

That’s exactly how we came up with the idea to make the Beam Bender. We wanted better directional control than swinging, so we made this device that provides an angle and is clearly visible down the hole so you know where it is pointed. One more tool for a hole hopper to have at their disposal.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I’d be happy to answer them.
