I’ll be going that way tonight. I has to be close. Last Sunday I predicted Bay Point to open Thursday/Friday (they were ice fishing on that grey ice yet). This rain might just do it in.

LOTS of people fishing from Hay Creek South!

    Colvill is up and running.

The dock at Covill was put in this morning by the city. The guys from the city said they were putting the dock in at Baypoint Monday. They could put the dock in even if it is not totally open.

Sorry I didn’t get that way last night…too much company.
Hopefully I’ll work over that way tonight.

Thanks Riverewey! My fridge was getting the best of me last night and didn’t finish until late.

Stopped by Bay Point last night…dang it’s close!
    One dock in…
I can’t believe that it won’t open up today if it hits 50 degrees!

This morning the back channels ramp had 12 rigs at 6:15, and parking was starting to head toward the Woodshed by 7 am.

Colville might be the best option for Saturday. Or very early in the morning…like before 6 at the back channel.

I hope to (but can’t promise) to check out Bay Point tonight.

The water has dropped about 1/2 foot since the middle of the week. 7.4′ this morning. Still…clipping along at 42,000 cfs.

Stay warm by wearing your PFD’s!

Was froze back up Sunday morning and nobody used it. Not sure over the last two days.

It was good yesterday. Few chunks of ice, but was able to get it pretty easily.

Drove by it around 10:30 Monday. Big chunks blew the ramp shut. Some trailers in lot. Maybe returning boats broke it up.I went to the back channel instead.

Don’t forget about Colvill. Lots of parking…little further to boat if your heading to the dam I spose.

We switched our club tournament launch site from Bay Point to Colvill for Saturday. Less ice and more parking, and on the plus side if your heading to the dam you can wave at BK when you go by.

I waved at Commodore BK Sunday. Or at least in the general direction of the tuna boats. BK, do you have a flag or something so I can make sure it’s you?

No flag… but can’t hardly miss the Ella J.

I’ll be out noodling bald eagles on Sunday in the Skeeter though.
