    How’s the ice this year? I usually get down there a few times each winter, but haven’t yet this year….

    They are fishing it. The ice thickness varies so use care. In front of the canal to the river channel the ice isn’t super thick yet so be sure you spud if you’re heading out in that direction.

    I’ve heard mixed reports about the fishing. Some guys have done well, others not so well. Its day by day there so if you have the chance go do it and let us know what the results are.
