This may be a dumb question, but will a battery tender jr work for maintaining my boat batteries? I know it will probably take longer if it will, but was just curious as I know nothing about electrical stuff

It’s only a 0.75-amp charge, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as strictly a maintenance trickle charger on indoor batteries in the offseason. I use it on flashers and ATVs. It puts out some juice.

I use the Tender Jr for the exact purpose you are curious about. I have one that I swap between two trolling, one cranking and one motorcycle battery. Been working fine for me. Every couple weeks I hook it up to one and wait until it is full topped off and then switch batteries. A 4 bank would be nice, but this is what I had and have had no issues yet.
