Hoping someone can help me out.

Seen it discussed here but can’t remember. I’m looking for a portable charger to jump my atv in case the battery ever goes dead while I’m on the ice . Don’t want to be stranded

The other help I need is

Thinking about doing an overnight on the ice. Maybe even 2 or 3 days on the ice. What could I use to recharge my fish finders I have Marcums and garmin Panoptics running a 30amp lithium on the garmin and the marcum shuttle for the Lx7 and Lx9

Noco jump staters are pretty nice. They were just on sale for Cyber Monday.

I have a Noco GB50 in my truck. Only used it once, but I was impressed (as was my BIL, who bought one shortly thereafter). I just ordered a GB20 for my car.

If you are going for 2 or 3 days, I think your best option would be a small generator. I have a 1KW Honda that is sure lighter than a car battery or something else. An off brand one should only be a few hundred.
If cost is no object, you can get a lithium battery like they use for trolling motors, they are 28lb and hold 105 AH at 12V. Cost around $750. You would have to figure out an inverter setup to run your chargers, or you could hook up to the big battery direct if you are in a house.

I carry a deep cycle battery, then a inverter that was 20 bucks. Charges all my batteries and runs my lights.
Easiest way to do it with out a generator

I prefer fishing with out the generator screaming all night. But thats my opinion. Been doing it this way for a long time

I have the NOCO GB 70 and its awesome. Used it a handful of times. Also use it to power my aerator for my engel bait bucket. Ran it for 2 days straight and was still over 50% charged.

Appreciate that and wish more would shut them down. I hope they disappear just like gas augers with how good battery technology is getting.

I have a noco gb40 that I keep in my ATV all winter, I have a noco plug-in wire harness directly wired to my atv battery, so it would just be a simple plug-in, charge up and start. I recommend this method vs having to deal with getting at the battery terminals (I have a yamaha grizzly that keeps the battery under the front plastics) in cold temps…

I think i have Seven 9 or 7ah batteries. Just pull one out, swap in another. They’re inexpensive.

I have a case they’re all in, for that one LOTW trip a year. I bought a few, but most were free, removed from “Emergency Lights”…Never actually used.

I’m sure there may be cheaper options now but I’ve been using Noco for close to 10yrs and they never let me down. GB50 in truck, GB 40 in wife’s care and GB20 kept in the Otter box on my ATV.

Charging up a 30Ah battery for a Panoptix is going to be tough. Unless you go the deep cycle or generator route like Bearcat suggested.
