Well, I woke up this morning, looked out my window and the 18 acre lake i live on is thawed! Now i just gotta find some time and go get the rust out in the next couple days- it sure will feel good to set a hook and feel that fight of a largemouth!!!
What lake do you live on, and when are we going fishing? Went out on the river on Saturday just to run the boat alittle. Water temp was 39.
I know I am wishing but what pool were you on and how much Ice is still in?

Well, made it out today after work for a short go-around and caught 3 bass- nothing big but felt good to feel the hit, set the hook and drag in some mostly lethargic 41 degree bass. Had a nice one swipe at a pointer, but the 3 i caught were 12-13 inches. Oh well, its a start! I think i might try to make it out for a ride on the river this weekend. limitfish- is there any ice floating on the river down here? (i am assuming pool 14 is where you took a ride???)
Got an open seat?! 
I would bet that this could be a money making venture for the next few weeks, I’ll come and be your cashier
