am sure like many of you, I find myself acquiring lots of tackle, now I am trying to organize it so I can find what I need when I need it and not have to carry 4 boxes/bags of “stuff”.
What have you found that seems to really work for you??
For the most part I use the soft side bags with several insert boxes. This is ok but have you found something that you would consider perfect?

ps. I primarily fish bass so it’s lots of plastics, spinner baits, and cranks. Or as my wife say’s, “You have WAY to much S#!T”

pss. this will not stop me from getting more!

what i’ve seen alot of guy’s do is buy a tupperwear or rubbermaid storage binw/top and put there stuff in there…hold alot of stuff you can use the smaller bins/ tops to organize your jigs

From my own personnel experiences in fishing..the perfect tackle option in a myth…lol…I think I change storage systems every year…As I type my wife is getting ready togo shopping with me to the man’s mall..why just have to have more storage boxes…I just buy the Plano 3700 series..and then “try” to organize the tackle two ways…One for fun or pre-fishing…And a seperate color style for just tournament days…..But next week it will be different again…..lol…..I think you’ll find if you ask 10 guys you’ll get 10 different answers…all of them the best way…..But..if you do find the right system…let me know….. good fishin….sooooonnn!!!!

im really liking the new fto boxes from falcon
they got a spinner bait box that in a soft bag will take up less room and not the mess

they also have a terminal tackel box and assorted size crank bait boxes that dont allow the hooks to tangle

this for me the non boater is perfect

the crank bait boxes dont hold as many baits but 2 of the fto boxes are only as thick as 1 1/4 of the plano boxes
the spinner bait box fitts in my bag flat no more of this higher on one side stuff

for plastics i use either a plano type box or the tackle logic worm bagg depending on where im going

i got the biggest bag tackle logic makes although i never have it full boaters dont like seeing it but it is the best way to go

i carry 5 flat coxes a worm bag rain suit jig box hook box senko box weight box sents etc

now with the fto ill cover less space with more boxes when going to the river i might have it down to a small bag that fits 4 plano boxes that will cary my one crank box my terminal box spinner box and jiggs and rain suit then carry on my worm pouch

although they dont hold as much the new fto is well worth it to save space and carry less

i know if i got alot of space to fill i fill it with stuff i hardley use

I got some of those as well at the boat show- i was in need of new boxes since my old ones warped, and i agree- the storage per box is less but they are smaller boxes and there is less clutter. Will have to see how many i have to buy to see if it really saves me much room in the long run, im kind of a pack rat when it comes to tackle.

Plano 3700, Tupperware & Fleet & Farm, Walmart or any other plastic bag near by.

    Thanks,

I used to use a combination of 3700 boxes in various sizes, wrap/binders for spinnerbaits and some plastics and then tupperware boxes with lids for soft plastics. Now that I’ve been re-organizing this winter into the Falcon FTO boxes I think I have found a better system. The spinnerbait box and the combination spinnerabit/buzzbait box allow me to use boxes compatible with my softside bag and the organizers molded in the boatcompartments, yet keep the baits secured and easy to access indiviually at a quick glance. I really like the crankabit and RattlTrap boxes which allow for picking an individual bait out, rather than a huge nest of six or eight crankbaits. Going to load up with a few more FTO’s at the Northwest Sportshow in Minneapolis this week…
