New Record Cat

    In light of the Sturgeon post, anyone seen this…? The new Texas state-record cat… wouldn’t this bend a rod over?

    140 lbs. caught in Lake Texoma, TX. This is one of those legandary fish that scuba divers say they see at the bottom of dams that are big enough to eat a person. They say that catfish this big are well over 100 years old.

    Sorry, RG that is a wels catfish from across the ocean. Europe I think. We don’t have anything like those here in the lower 48.

    The real Texas record was posted on another forum. Both fish are sure trophies.
