I am going fishing for the first time this year, some time this week or weekend.. but absolutely Saturday..

so.. some one give me a clue of where to start.. rats? sand flats? backwater or main river..

    I don’t need a spot I need a direction..or lure type.. I can find my own spots..

I am not trying to take anything away from anyone..
thank you for your time in posting. I really would appreciate it or a PM..

    sincerly.. the rat..

Crank baits on any Day Marker, Wingdam, Point on a slew, Rock Pile.

Or Plastics deep in the slews.

    Good Luck

Monday gills were in current eddie pools in about 10′ of water and right on the bottom but a lot has changed since then. With the water temps dropping about 7 deg. since then maybe the crappies are getting hungry but couldn’t find any takers on Monday. A lot of the snags we fish are all congested with the weed mats that have been flushed out.
