pool 10 biggest bass I have ever…..

    seen while fishing with my father in law on sat, was fishing spinnerbaits in 3-4ft of water in a back bay and as my fatherinlaw ripped his off a weed an absolutely huge bass exploded after it but unfortunately missed his target. the biggest I have ever caught was a 5 1/2 and this one dwarfed him, I would guess at least 7, wow was all we could both say.made several more casts with a variety of baits with no luck. prairie area was absolutely packed with bass fisherman, parking lot was full at 6 when we got there, popular spots were pounded to death took a lot of searching but finally found a few off the beaten path, lots of mayflies and minnows for fish to feed on right now.

    I post when I do get out but its only about every other week or so that I make it to the river, pools 9& 10 dont seem to get much response on here must not be the most popular pools but they are closest to me sometimes seems like a waste of time posting when noone replies but I assume someone must fish these pools ther’s always plenty of traffic on the water, Dan, pm sent, Kris dont know if your was meant in fun or if you are basically saying I’m full of bs, but I was not in a tourney and had no reason to make some thing up just to post, just trying to contribute to the site, I can go back to posting on another site if I want to get slammed

    A buddy and I were chatting about how dead the bass forum gets in the summer. my best guess is alot of guys on here are tournament anglers and just dont want to give up any info. I’m as guilty as the next guy, I’ve been on fish all summer but dont want give out any info cuz I’m super competitive. I love fishing pool 9 and always have a good time on 10. Thanks for the info Chippee and we have all had misses like that. Keep up the reports and if you dont want to share the info on here you can PM anytime . Dan
