Is the lower part of the pool void of bass…I did find a couple smallie spots but not much for lgmouth..are the lakes around glen haven a waste of time?? HELP!!!!!

I haven’t fished pool 10 yet this year. But I’ll be there in Aug for a couple days. I am confident there are a lot of bass in the southern part of the pool. Just a matter of cracking the code to what they are relating too. With this stretch of stable weather we have, it would be a great time to cover a lot of water. Just make sure you are constantly changing the structure type your fishing until you find a pattern. A buddy of mine sent me an email with his PB largemouth from pool 10. 7#1oz. That fish along with everything else he caught was in deep water sand humps drop shotting a Gulp Leech

Theres a good number of fish to give up on the lower end of 10 you just have to look. If i was you I’d start shallow in bays and pockets with a frog and swimjig and if you still dont have success work your way deeper to the channel

I fished a tourney on Sunday on the southern end and I used one bait and 1 pole all day. I was throwing frogs into the nastiest and thickest junk you could find. By the way i won so hopefully this helps. I do agree with Ole Pailmouth that maybe mix it up with a swimjig once in awile. It seemed that you needed to find a hint of current and a good mixture of weeds. Good Luck, Dan

Hey Dan (or others) what are water conditions like on lower 10? I see the pool is up quite a bit but is mud, floating logs, junk an issue?

Theres no fish on the lower end of 10! . Theres a very good number of fish on the lower end of 10. A lot of good quality fish as well. Like the earlier post mentioned, you have to look for them but when you do, they are there in good numbers.

Hi Waters still high and is on a slow drop.Water is really clear in most areas. Shad and a lot of river minnows are showing up on the weed lines big time.As far as the bite goes, get a lure in front of them and they seem really aggressive. Good luck STEVE

I still have a month before I will make it up for my yearly tournament trip. I just hope that the fish are in a great mood when I get up there. I only get one day to prefish
