    Drew got a rock bass and I got 3 smallies. 2 of them went around 16″ and I missed a few others.

    Yeah, Tyler and I have been doing it also on a local lake.

    Feels funny throwing plastics with hooks the size of coat hangers in them. I think the walleye guy in me has me working over the weed beds too methodically. The bass guys come by making 3 or 4 casts while I’m on my 15th or 20th cast.

    We had a slow day yesterday. The wind made boat control a chore and the showers moving through were a bit distracting as well. 2 small smallies and about 4 drum for our efforts.
