after a horrible outing last weekend got a little peace of mind back on sat, started out on main channel areas as i knew our time there would be limited and progressed to backwaters as traffic increased, sauger,walleye,northern, sheep, and bass all found their way to the boat today, swim jigs in the weeds being our best bite today, nothin huge but at least a turn in the right direction, by 10:30 or so it must have been really getting rockin on the channel as there was a steady parade of fisherman filing into the backwaters, by 11 it was crowded enough and hot enough to call it a day
