They were snapping in the cold and drizzle last night. Caught eight in an hour and a half. Not big but chunky. Caught one small walleye too. Mepps and tubes

We found them last night to. Was a little surprised at where. It was a current break in a back water cut. Deep water with a little lumber around. Mud bottom. I always pictures smallies hanging more on rock or gravel. Been a lot of them things biting this year.
