looking for fishing reports between these pools. mainly bass but looking for panfish as well. i was out yesterday on the fingerlakes and believe the water temp to be around 60 degrees. wondering where these types of fish are hiding out.

Fished pool 2 yesterday for bass. Did OK. I think it is still a week or two early for the best fishing in the area i was fishing. water temps were right around 57 when we started in the morning and was close to 62 when we ended in the afternoon. Most of the fish came on Jigs and soft plastics but we did get a few on Blades and swim jigs as well. I did also manage to pick up a large slab crappie on a plastic worm. I may have to get back there and try to fish a little more for them. Best of luck to you. Lets us know how you do.

i do not understand. i have been fishing backwaters here around wabasha and no luck at all. have been out at all times of day, using pretty much what you have been using. maybe wrong technique on me. i am not sure. very nice for you! very bad for me javascript:void(0)

Was out on 4 4/18. The weather was way too nice. Which for me usually spells trouble.
Could not get fish going in the usual current areas.
Where we did find them was where I would be looking in the middle of may(just pre-spawn).
They were on flats just above channel swings tucked into shallow woody cover. These are the same areas they will be spawning in.
I am not saying they are making beds but
I usually would not be finding them here yet.
All fish on swim jigs. Good luck
