I see there’s a bunch of alumacraft owners out there, anybody bothered by steering and throttle cables rattling when idling, any quick fixes?
    Thanks in advance.

What are you running for a motor, I do not have this problem.

Mercury 60hp four stroke, runs very quiet and smooth but the cables that run thru the channel on the drivers side drive me crazy. Only when idling.

Go to Fleet Farm and pick up foam pipe insulation with the split in it. Then cable tie it to gather. This should quite it down considerably.

the cables run thru a channel that’s not accesible and thats where they rattle.

You should be able to feed the foam from one side. Just like you would feed the cables through. Once you get the foam on the cable put a cable tie on about every 6-8″. that will prevent the foam from falling off when you feed it.
