A buddy of mine always reminds me why we live here this time of year, because, like you, being cold sucks!
The answer lies with… Spring and Fall, Haywood. The harsh extremes of summer and winter provide us “nor-dern-ners” a BEAUTIFUL countryside (and river) to enjoy… Think of the warm spring, the crisp fall… Besides, imagine how much stuff you would *not* get done if you weren’t stuck inside for a couple months!
Oh, and think about how much more you *appreciate* the “OPEN WATER & WARM AIR”….
Here’s a thought, who painted the Devil red and hell as hot… anyone step outside today? NOTHING could be worse!
Bottom line, I’m with you… COME ON SOFT WATER!!!!
January 29, 2004 at 3:39 pm #290673My wife lets me take her fishing on Mothers Day, so that is fun to look forward to! Here is a nice Mothers Day smallie. She grew up on a farm north of Hudson, and she loves the cold. Open water is just around the corner….
