This photo is sent out to us by Rauser who regularly fishes the Susquehanna River out in Pennsylvania

June 2001 – In Rauser’s own words…”I caught this 24″ Susquehanna River smallie well after dark. I believe I have caught this same fish three times over a five year span. I hope to catch her again next year.”

    Rauser from Pennsylvania

Let ’em go, let ’em grow. Catch that awesome smallie one more time and you’ll have to give it a name…. if you hven’t already! Great looking fish, very long. Thanks for sharing the photo with us all.

I agree. Hey? Is that a pileated woodpecker in the backround?

She weighted 6lb. 4oz.. I caught her in June. The old girl took first place in the River Smallies (riversmallies.com) web site photo contest for 2001.

Nice fish! My wife has relatives in the Lewisburg/Milton area. Have always looked the the Susquehanna when visiting and thought I should have brought my tackle…might have to next time.
