I was just wondering if anyone has any information or advice for me. I am going to fountain city this weekend to do a little bass fishing and could use some help. Thanks

I have not been out much but wandered around a bit last Saturday afternoon. The recreational traffic was brutal on 5A but then I was just putting in at 2:30. We hit some backwater areas along the MN side without much luck but we did manage to pull some large and smallmouth from some wingdams in the evening once the other traffic thinned out. Small cranks seemed to work the best. I did see some slop bites from other boats but we did not manage to find a pattern.

    Good luck.

Thanks I figured the bite would be tough. Hopefully I can lock onto some type of bite. I have never fish pool 5 but I might have to do some searching. How is the water level right now.

I fished it Sunday. Caught about 15 fish. Largemouth and smallmouths on shallow rocks. Northerns on weeds. All on one lure. CRANKBAITS. SHALLOW diving cranks. Good Luck Windy
