There couldnt have been anyone on ido this morning because I think everyone was on the river Every place we went to pull up to had at least one boat on it. Not wanting to settle for others leftovers we continued north until we found a little more space, being out of my comfort area we searched out the pattern everyone has been stating”rocks on the main channel” Never found them stacked but each spot seemed to give up 4-5 fish with several quality ones including an 18 in largie and pb 19 in smallie. most fish caught wanted plastics slow. with the crowded conditions maybe should report a very very slow bite

Why was I hearing a rumor that something bad had happened to pool 9 and killed a bunch of fish???

What weights has it been taking to win tournies out of pool 9/pool 10?

I see a lot of weights in the 12-13lb range that have won smaller tournaments on these pools but that seems very low!

Pool 9 has been very tough this year both in numbers and in size.

It’s true, there was a bad fish kill 2 years ago on pool 9 that a lot of people say threw things off. Others say the fish all got taken to 8 in tournies which I think is a bunch of BS, and lastly people blame the poor water quality. I think a combination of 1 and 2 have a lot to do with it. The weeds haven’t been as good and mix that with the fish kill and the fishing is off. It still has some good fish in it but not like it used to be. Some tournaments are being won with 15-16+ lbs but from what I know, most of those have been won off pool 8.
