    We had two come by us while fishing pool 7 yesterday. It was a welcomed sight.

    You saw one pass this am? I drove from Hok-Si-La down to Reeds Landing on Saturday and it was solid ice as far as I could see in every direction, except near the shore and in the Wabasha area.

    I drove to Winona this AM and I think it’s safe to call pool 5 and 5a ice free. The wind had some ice piled up against the bank but it was breaking up fast. I didn’t get a look at Pepin but Wilcox was 90% open. The harbor in Wabasha need a couple more days.

    on my way to work to redwing, i noticed that from about stockholm on up was ice free. musta missed the barge going through. only be a day or two and the lake should be wide open!
