You bet, DanWi! Fight on… I’ll take a Sheepy anyday the bite is tough… sure gets the adreneline going. Anyone know what the record is? Curious, as this one was ~10 lbs… biggest I have seen. Wondring just how huge they get!??

Hey MossBoss… I like the picture switch… is that “symbolic” of the seasons!!!!

I got one that tipped the scales at over 19 pounds…I got a pic of it around here some place too…

But there is a bigger…WAY bigger one than that. I was caught by Ray Childs i believe…and I can’t remember what the weight was…but it blew mine away !!

still a 10 pounder is truely a big fish

My biggest weighed 27 lbs. I still have the stones from its head too. The State record weighed just over 35 lbs and was caught near Winona in 1999. I used to see some real dandies when I commercial fished with my dad.

27 lbs!!!!! Holy Moses, Batman! I cannot even imagine… Biggest freshwater fish I ever caught was a 30 lb Muskie… And, I had GEAR DESIGNED for a 50lb Muskie… Cathcing a 27 lb Sheepy would have to be EXHILERATING on Bass gear!!!

If you find the pictures, please share… I would liek to see!!!

My brother caught a 29.5 inch sheep-monster off the jetty at Pepin in April this year. It was as wide as a trash can lid!! Didn’t weigh it I am sure is was between 15 and 20#. A true trophy indeed!

This one got the old heart pumping too. Pool 9, Blackhawk area, 1/4 oz. jig and purple ringy. Right on 20#. Thought I have the state record eye.
