I totally agree with Champman. Now…time for me to stir the pot a little

If this is a B.A.S.S. rule, will each states B.A.S.S Federation have to abide by this? Sounds pretty tough seeing as how each club is designed to share info and help new anglers and current members. I’ve been in the Wis Fed and this will really come into play when the Zone and State tourneys role around.

Next…what about the “PROS” that have already received info in the past? Can they use info that they received 2, 3, or 5 years ago? Are they Grandfathered? If the rule was just implemented this year, can they just say that they received info before it was illegal. DANG! Why do I think of this stuff?

I have to agree with the rule. Lets seperate the boys from the men. We all know that finding the fish is the hardest part!

    My 2 cents.

dave i wonder about the state federations adopting this but it will realoly hurt slot of people we couldnt go to our club meetings or even half to miss our clubs tournoments if they violate these rules

as for the old info im sure its legal the way i read it is 30 or 60 days i cant rember now before the tournoment to the end of the tournoment that means you can prefish get all the info you want till that cut off day so they can still get help but it wont be current help it will be old news but if you say there is always fish in x slough willing to bite a crank bait on a drop off during this month when the water is x degrees then they will take it and do well with it

also as far as i know these rules are only for the e50 tournoments and classic so we are safe in the federations for now

DustyT as for the Fed. BASS it will be up to each club, this is how Ray Scott set the Fed. so each regian and each club could set up rules to their needs,as for state, reginals, nationals I m sure these rules will be in effect in the future.

Anyone catch Roland Martin tonight on OLN? He fished with the guy he openly admits put him on the fish for the classic last year. Bill Dance was again fishing in a private lake with nobody in sight-lol.

I gotta go fishing, im getting picky even in watching fishing shows.
