John “Glider” Stears on Kent Herbek Outdoors

    I was flippin channels last night and saw John Stears AKA Glider, AKA River Fan on Kent Herbek Outdoors.
    It looked like the Pike were on the chew along with some bass and a turtle!
    Anyhow nice show John and Herbie seems like a good guy to share a boat with.
    My question is where does “Glider” come from?
