Bucketmouth must be doing the fall spawn thing , cause smallies have replaced a lot of them on the main channel. There are some >>>>> SCAREY SMALLMOUTH ON THE MAIN CHANNEL STRUCTURE RIGHT NOW…..ALL THE THREE OF US COULD SAY SUNDAY AFTERNOON WAS DID YOU JUST SEE THAT FISH????? IT WAS FOLLOWED BY EVERYTHING IN THE TACK BOX WITH NOTHING WORKING WELL EXCEPT SPINNERBAIT. No kidding guys we saw three different Smallmouth throughout the afternoon ,come almost completely out of the water that I would definitely mount. With absolutley no doubt the smallest was over 5lbs and the biggest one I won’t even guess at. I caught that huge smallie five years ago in the spring full of eggs and this one would make it hide.

    Hey Mountain Man,
Nice report, could you give us just a bit more info on what kind of structure you were finding the big followers?
Did you get any big hits on the spinnerbaits? How were you using it?
    Thanks

Were you on that little spot we fished a couple years back when we joked at how easy the fish were to catch there????

Sorry guys I missed both of your posts. I was gone almost all week out of town. The bigger fish were all on spinnerbaits. About half and half Jeremy…meaning a few on the usual spots and some on some new submerged lumber just like you. Lawrence
