Even with the high winds and even higher water levels I was still able to get out today from 1:30-5. It was really slow we only were able to get one fish. I got it on a chatterbait/spinnerbait mix. I talked to some guys that I know that were out all day and they only managed 4 fish so at least I was not the only one that was having a slow day.
The water here is about 4 foot up from last week and the water temps are 10 deg cooler as well. But for as high as the water is, I did not think it was all the dirty back in the area that I was fishing. I just hope it comes down and warms up before next week.
