what does every one think weights and patterns are going to be next sat?

I think being earlier than the last couple years the winning weight is going to be 19-20lbs. with a lot of 12-14lb limits. I feel like a lot of people are going to either load up on a school of monster smallies , or get lucky and stick one and then have to go shallow and try to stick a limit of 2lb largies. Will be interesting to see. I have the day off and think that i’m going to go out and fish the same hours and see what i could have put together. I just don’t think i quite have the change in my pocket to gamble on my bite. We’ll see though

Kevin, your free to do what you want, but going out and fishing during the tourney hours could cause some hard feeling with some of your local guys that are fishing. They might have found that same school of fish and plan on going to them and bam…….your sitting on them, I hope you follow me on this. Your free to do whatever Good luck.

I will not be fishing the tourney either, but you can bet I will be fishing.

We as anglers should not have to consider whether a tourney is in town or not before deciding to fish. We all paid the license fees and the waters are available to ALL anglers

I pick Slop to win. No pressure Slop. I won’t be fishing there next weekend but if I wanted to I sure as hell would.

I’m going to predict 19lbs wins it because that’s what I’m on.

I hope we do get some locals out there pounding some community holes…it ups my chances of winning.

Hey Natureboy…if you want to see how you fair, you should just enter the tournament! You’re on some good ones.

You’re darn right it is my right However, I do have a shred of morals

If I knew somebody that was a local had fish going in a certain area, I would definitely NOT fish that particular area.
My point is this, in the LaCrosse area, there are tournaments of some kind nearly every weekend. If we didn’t fish because of tournies, we non tournament anglers would never get to fish. Weekends are my only option during the late spring, summer, and fall.
I am not trying to be hatin’ on the tourney guys, but I can’t sit back and let them control my actions

The smallies are stacked right now and are biting. I’m guessing 18+ easy to win. 13.5 to cash.

I would say more like 12.5 to cash…just my opinion.

With the forecasted high water I predict no tourney.(sorry about the negativity ) However if it does go the weights will probably be drastically reduced because of the no wake law.

I agree with Jim T. Its supposed to be 10.4 by the tourney time. Based on what i’ve seen around the clinton street landing area, the fish are biting but a ton of little guys…I’m sure some big smallies could be caught by simply idling up the black a ways but it would be pretty whacky for sure.

If the water miraculously drops, Then its definitely going to take a hefty amount. Man you guys are killing me with those smallies. I know where some are in the pit of course but I just wish i knew where to get on them elsewhere.
