Last night was destined to be a good night of fishing. The weather was perfect for spring fishing. 70 degrees, blazing sun, and just enouqh wind to break up the light patterns. Started the day chucking spinnerbaits to shallow wood. Hooked into a 3.1 (had the scale today) right away. pictured with me shirtless. Then later the next fish was a 4.10 largemouth. As fun and excited as i was to catch this fish I couldn’t help but notice how much smaller it was than the fish i caught friday that i estimated at 5 lbs. I weighed the fish twice to make sure 4.10 was right. I almost have to say now that that fish friday was 5 1/2 if it was an ounce. close to dark we went for some smallies we only caught two but one was 3.0 and the other was the 4.8 pictured with my friend reid. Fish fell to spinnerbaits, bomber minus ones. And the elusive secret lure. HA! Those of you who know me know where these fishies came from, and those of you who know me better know what they fell too. Maybe keep it to ourselves for those that don’t know. otherwise it takes the fun out of sharing pictures and stories
Still haven’t caught a bass on my num num jigs maybe tonight
c you on the water,
Kevin
