Information on Largemouth Bass Virus (LMBV). Sounds like if you test stressed LMB’s, you might find it. Big concern for B.A.S.S. (whose contributing $$ for studies) and implications for delayed bass mortality from tournament (LMBV?) stress.
I think this brings up a valuable point, regarding all fish, from trout to catfish and the chances of mortality after being released! Catch and release is one thing, but if your getting into the habit of horsing fish in, launching fish , shaking them off or keeping them out of the water too long, you can bet your contributing to the increase of mortality!!!
