Fall Bite Still There

    Even though the calandar tells me it’s November the weather has been great! Not that I am telling you anything new.

    Anyhow I was out yesterday for a bit, backwater lake on pool 6, and still found some largemouth willing to bite. We were fishing for snakes and throwing rattle traps and thunder sticks and found a few active bass. They still had alot of fight left in them and although the numbers were not great (5) the size was nice. So if the weather holds…I did say IF get on out and hit a few.

    yeah… and the smallies are stilling tearing it up on the croix… I figure I should find me some nice chubs and get out there for some real PIGS…. what the heck? if you cant beat em join em… I keep working for eyes… when I should be fishing SMB!!! guess its time to switch….

    Been doing real good with the carolina rig. Haywood knows I love to fish that way. Are you heading out this weekend? I know sat. is out of the question. You know me anytime is a good time.

    Dodge boy,

    Sat is out for me as well BIG Football game vs. Duluth at the Dome. Sunday may work out? Wife and kids out of town :o)

    If weather is nice perhaps this will work. I will let you know as soon as I do.

    Sun. sounds like it’s gonna be sunny. I will most likely be out on the river doing something. IF it’s not shooting ducks it will be fishing.
