I bought a 7′ St. Croix Premier Glass Crankbait rod last year and really liked it for throwing crankbaits and rattletraps. It has medium power with a medium fast tip. I had the opportunity to buy 2 more of the identical rod this winter at a good price. I was wondering if this type of rod would be good for throwing spinnerbaits and swimjigs in and along grass in the backwaters of the Mississippi river? Also would this rod work for throwing buzzbaits or chug bugs?
