Yes there is a National Championship. You get a chance at 1 of 3 Triton TR21PD fully rigged bass baots with Mercury 225 engine. Go to the website for better info but in a nutshell it works like this.

You join in a district and then fish in ANY district (there is about 80 nationwide) and the best 4 1-day tournaments and the best 2-day tournament is counted toward AOY points. From that the top 500 are invited to the National in October. Same year National that is a key point to keep in mind. If you simply weigh-in fish at all tournaments you should easily qualify.

One boat goes to the champion and one to AOY the other is a drawboat. Fish 4 1-day and 1 2-day events and you are in the draw.

This year the Championship is October 5-10 on Kentucky Lake last year was Lake Wheeler before that I think Texoma. Next year we won’t know for a few weeks.

I just started fishing 12 and it looks great. I have not ventured onto 11 yet. We listened to our members, however, and that is where they want to go. We will do our best to meet your needs.

I must be losing my mind I thought I responded to this a week ago. Must have dreamed it.

Anyway our payout is stricly based on participation. Payout is 65% at the ramp and 85% (even higher if you consider sponsor programs and prizes) by the end of the year. We payback 1 spot for every 7 participants.

To answer another question I got in email. We are a draw trail but if you bring a boat you will use your boat even if that means you fish alone. We never force boaters to fish together in district tournaments.
