Tank Creek

Just got in from fishing Tank Creek area w/a buddy of mine. Water is too low for a boat…had to trek it. Using Crawdad type cranks and other worms, caught several small SMB and 1 decent LMB…close to 2lb’s. Lots of d#mn snake northerns around too . I must have lost 4 lures to those things. ..If the river were passible by boat, i bet you could get on tons of fish, and even find a hawg here or there. I know that isn’t most of your guys forte’…but for those who don’t have boats..check it out.

Took the dog swimming up at Perot State Park and the family for a boat ride up Trempeleau River… wow is it ugly with goo and the water is very “yucky”… not sure how else to describe it. Sure is beautiful up there. Dog stinks, now!
