Another pool 4 report

Fishing was slow again so all you BFL anglers fish hard because these fish are in tight little areas. I did not have a lot of success today with only one legal being caught but tommorrow is another day. Flow is the key to any fish period right now and the shad are there right along with it. I saw a bass todday with his nose pointed straight at the bank, that to me was an indication of how hot the bite was The fish were there they just were so lockjawed that they wouldn’t even take a look at the bait! That is the first time I have ever seen a fish do that when current id flowing by there melon. Just thought I would put a little fresh info out there.

Are you still able to run the WI channel? What is the average depth of the channel right now that is? And can you see the sand bars…My skeg is already a shiney silver and do not want to polish it anymore this year…Maybe someone could PM me with more info on this…Thanks guys…

Yes, you can make the WI channel. It’s real shallow… lots of 1.5′ – 3′ of water back there but you can make it if you scout it.
