U.M.F Final, What are your thoughts.

I watched the Match fishing final and was not really impressed. I did like the last 2 hrs of open fishing but I think you should have seen the weigh in also. I really did not see Duckett catch 21 pounds, I have caught 20 plus and I had two over 6. I did not think Boyd caught any over 3 although he claimed one was over 4 . It was hard to tell but if they would have shown the weigh in shielded from the contestants I would not feel like I do know. To me the fish are the stars of the show and they have gotten away from that. Too bad.

I just caught the tail end of it and was not very impressed with the ending/ weigh-in. At the end it was like no big deal just won a contest, whatever. I haven’t watched much at all of it before but have seen a show or 2 when nothing else was on. The whole series didnt impress me much.

The whole concept to me is goofy. I guess it’s a different spin on tournament fishing but it seems weird, with the referee and all. It’s like normal tournament fishing isn’t enough of a sport, that you would have to add a referee and a bunch of other rules/penalties to follow. Anyways, I watched the final…what a joke. It was like watching a medal ceremony but only seeing the start of the race.
