    TBF Northern Division Final Results

Jim Severson wins the tournament after zeroing the first day! Minnesota makes a huge comeback and finishes 3rd.

Jim Jones slipped up today and fell to 5th overall and 2nd on the WI team, but he still gets to go to Nationals! Wisconsin also slipped as a team and ended up 2nd.

Great job by all the guys that fished the tournament and good luck to those that qualified to go on to Nationals.

Congrats to Indiana on being the winning team! Also to WI for the second place and to us MN for our first trip there and working hard for third!

Congrats to Jim Severson for winning MN and the overall tournament. Congrats also goes oput to Doug Pietrzak for second in MN and qualifying for the championship.

It was a tough go of it with the wind and rough water. It was my first trip out to the big water and I can say I learned a lot! I could not get the Smallmouth to go, inexperience I guess, but ended up getting the Largemouth to go later. I wish I had one more day out there. The Largemouth were along break walls and rip rap and hit a variety of different baits from spinner baits to cranks and tubes. Most of my fish came on a Brovarney Swim Jig, spinnerbait and a crank bait. I know our second place guy caught most of his fish on a 3/8 Blue Devil Brovarney and made a believer out of a couple of guys from different states. The sheephead out there are truely MONSTERS!! I look forward to the opportunity next year and meeting all the great guys from the different states.
